Learning Strategies

Ronda helps students of all ages, including young adults engaged in undergraduate and graduate studies to improve and enhance current lifestyle choices and study practices towards optimal learning and academic success. Within a 3-session format, and following the checklist below as a road map, Ronda will support each learner thrive within their educational experiences by exploring current patterns. Evaluating areas of success, challenge and roadblocks to educational thriving, Ronda will help each learner create a study-skills and optimal health-based plan towards their success.


A successful student:

 

  • Is well rested.

  • Has healthy eating and hydration habits.

  • Feels in control of healthy screen time.

  • Is involved in healthy pursuits outside of academics.

  • Has strategies in place to deal with life stressors.

  • Manages time and a busy schedule effectively.

  • Is organized/sets goals/challenges roadblocks.

  • Understands their learning profile and knows HOW to study.

  • Feels confident in written expression output and reading comprehension patterns.

  • Is enthusiastic/motivated/does not procrastinate.

  • Interacts well with family/friends/adults.

  • Knows how to resolve problems.

  • Asks questions.

  • Gets involved in the school and community, and knows how to have healthy fun, fun, fun!
